The Crusades is a 200 page illustrated history book on the rise, pinnacle, and fall of the crusader states. Each crusade is outlined along with short biographies of notable figures.
Published in 2002, The Crusades was the first book produced while I was Director of Publications at AeroArt International. The original text and artwork was purchased from a Russian publisher who had originally printed the work during the Soviet Era. The text required complete replacement and all the images needed substantial restoration. The layout is entirely new. Each page was designed and printed as a 4-color spread. Customer response has been especially positive with modelers who use this book as a visual reference.
