Metallic inks were used on tinted paper to prevent reproduction on the Certificate of Authenticity (pictured top-left). The certificate on the top-right accompanies the annual limited edition pieces. Printed in short runs on heavy paper, these certificates are created from scanned custom painted artwork. Pictured on the bottom is the gift certificate. Since the certificate is representative of a credit on an account instead of acting as tender, there is no need to prevent replication of the actual paper document.

The certificates I have produced have varied in both printing technology and mission. Some certificates were designed to inhibit reproduction, whereas others were designed to highlight artistry. Naturally the samples shown here have been slightly altered to inhibit accurate replication
